You may want to print your own book or create a booklet for an event. Word offers easy methods for doing this.
Word offers pre-built page settings that you can use for the purpose. Use the Book Fold layout to print your booklet in the proper order automatically, and it will be ready for folding and binding.
Word also offers online templates that you can use for creating professional-looking booklets.
You can get the best results by setting an appropriate layout for the document before you start the writing project.
We will show you how to create a Word booklet using simple step-by-step instructions.
Open a blank document in Word.
Click the Layout tab in the top menu bar to change the ribbon.
In the section Page Setup, click the dialog launch icon.
This will launch the Page Setup dialog box.
Click the Margins tab.
Under Pages, change the Multiple pages: setting to Book Fold.
You can change the margins to suit your booklet.
Increase the Gutter: size to reserve space on the inside fold for binding.
Click the Paper tab in the Page Setup dialog box.
Under “Paper size:”, select a suitable paper size.
Note: the final booklet size will be one-half the width of the paper size you have chosen.
Click the OK tab at the bottom for changes to take effect.
Click on the File tab in the top menu bar to open the File menu.
In the left pane, click on the Save As tab.
In the right pane, click on the Browse tab.
This will open the File Manager.
Locate a suitable folder to store your file.
Pick a suitable name against the File name: tab
Select Word Template against “Save as type:”.
Click the Save tab at the bottom.
Now you can use this template to create any booklet.
Click the File tab in the top menu bar to open the File menu.
In the left pane, click the New tab.
In the search bar, type Booklet, and click the search icon.
Word displays a panel of booklet templates.
Select the one most appropriate for your application.
In the next screen, click the Create icon.
Word will open a document using the selected template.
Replace the content in brackets with your own text.
Fill in the rest of the document with your text.
Click the File tab in the top menu bar to open the File menu.
In the left pane, click the Save As tab.
In the right pane, click the Browse tab.
This will open the File Manager.
Locate a suitable folder to save the file.
Pick a suitable name against “File name:”
Select Word Document against “Save as type:”.
Click on the Save tab at the bottom.
Click on the File tab in the top menu bar to open the File menu.
In the left pane, click the Print tab.
In the right pane, under Printer, select your printer.
Under Settings, select Print all Pages.
Under Settings, select Manually Print on Both Sides.
Note: Select Print on Both Sides, if your printer supports automatic printing on both sides of the paper.
Click the Print icon to start printing.
Note: You can also use the above settings to print double sided booklet.

I’m using Word page size 5″ x 7″ but when I type to the bottom of the page
there is a blank page next to it…..I need to delete this blank page.
Plse. advise how to delete this page.
The completed pages will be sent to a publisher to put them in order
with folding, etc.
